Mary Tillman-Young is the visionary founder and principal consultant of MTY Consulting, a firm dedicated to fostering inclusive corporate environments, guiding professionals toward their career aspirations, inspiring audiences through impactful keynote speeches, designing effective non-profit programs, and developing robust strategic plans. Born in New Jersey and raised between the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts and Nevis and Maryland, Mary's commitment to health equity and social justice is deeply rooted in her upbringing. Witnessing firsthand the barriers to healthcare access faced by her community, she has dedicated her career to promoting equitable access to resources for underserved communities.
With over ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Mary has supported corporate partners, healthcare systems, educational nonprofits, housing and civic organizations, and so much more.Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Non-Profit Management program at Southern Methodist University, and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program at Cornell University.
Mary's work has led to the creation of inclusive workplace cultures, the advancement of professional careers, and the development of strategic plans that drive meaningful growth. Outside of work, she enjoys being a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., NAACP, and serving as an advisor for many local non-profits. Moses Tillman-Young is a content creation consultant with MTY Consulting. In addition to being the host of Black Gold Podcast: Stories of Black Dreamers and Doers, Moses is dedicated to help organizations and businesses build their online presence and connect with their target audience. With half a decade of experience in graphic design, freelance writing, and content creation, Moses develops customized strategies for organizations to improve user experience and drive conversions to impact and change lives.
